As San Diego residents, we have a particular park that we absolutely love. This is the Coronado Cays Dog park. It is located inside Coronado Cays at Coronado Island. This park is so big and wide it has space for ALL dogs. It is a six-acre park that boasts many amenities.
On weekdays, it hosts soccer games for kids. This park has pickleball courts and even a baseball practice area. This park lets our fur babies run off-leash, bark, chase the ball, make friends, and smell the delicious ocean breeze.
For those with hooman babies, it also provides a playground for kids. Parking and bathrooms as well ! Coronado Cays Park has benches and is ADA accessible.
We've been coming here for 6 years now and our boston terrier and labrador love it. Here, they've befriended other dogs. Big and small, tall and short, friendly and not so friendly (though not often). From labradors, to golden retrievers, huskies, corgis, dachshunds, rottweilers, poodles, collies and more.
